Yaroomba Beach believes in supporting and creating local jobs and ensuring we use local businesses whenever we can. Since late 2010 when Sekisui House purchased the various Yaroomba sites, we have contracted and employed a range of local people, directly and indirectly, in our community and throughout the Sunshine Coast region. The range of services contracts range from design consultants, civil and building contractors, environmental management contractors through to signage providers and catering companies.

Local industry participation plan

Yaroomba Beach is committed to a Local Industry Participation Plan (LIPP) to support local employment and business. LIPPs commonly use a range of methods to maximise local industry and business participation such as structuring building contracts to align with the size and capabilities of local industries, or appointing additional tender points to contractors employing more locals.

Yaroomba Beach's LIPP will ensure contractors take on trade apprentices, providing the Sunshine Coast with additional apprenticeships in each year of construction.
